The Opportunity
Adept Group is seeking a Senior Packaging Engineer (1099 Contractor) to add to our team in Chicago, IL! This candidate would have full packaging development experience in the Food & Beverage, CPG, or Pharmaceutical industries. This person must have experience with plastic bottle and mold qualification.
This is a hybrid (3 days per week onsite) 1099 Contractor (Independent Contractor) opportunity for 3 months at 40-hours per week.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate line trials.
- New innovative packaging projects.
- Packaging development projects.
Day to Day:
- Field technical calls.
- Lead discussions with suppliers.
- Prepare and review technical documents for labs.
- Participate in calls with international production teams.
Requirements:
- Located in Chicago, IL and be open to working 3 days per week onsite.
- 4 - 10 years of packaging engineering experience.
- Plastic bottle and mold qualification experience.
- Food & Beverage, CPG, or Pharmaceutical experience.
